The Tapestry of Golden Life
Is the Big Picture and the scene
Thread by thread it is woven
To glitter a glorious sheen
Roughly woven or silkily gone
This is the work of a dance
Skillfully and gracefully
Through every Stage and Stance
How lucky are we
To be woven into such a masterpiece
And to sing this Song
Until, at last, death does us release
-Starcatcher

it feels a bit scattered to me. I love the imagery, and I can tell there is reference to weaving and tapestries throughout it, but I think the problem might be that the subject is not uniform, even though the metaphor is. It definitely has potential, though.
